The very picture of sweetness

Friday during my lunch hour at work, I took a walk to the art store and picked up a set of radiograph technical pens. I haven't drawn in pen & ink since college (many moons ago) but want to get more into art to offset the lack of creativity at my day job.

So I tried out my pens tonight, and what better subject to draw than my dear Razzle!!

Cute, but doesn't do him justice.

I drew this little guy too because I love squirrels.

Back before I had a blog, this was my first attempt at watercolors:

It's great to have such an inspiring subject. :)

WOW. Those drawings and watercolor are amazing. You really captured Razzle and that squirrel would make Johnny and Kiki look twice (to chase or not to chase?!). Sorry I've been so out of touch. The holidays were really tough...and the normal busy...this year. Thanks for the Christmas card. I hope your holidays were good! We should get together soon. Hope all is well!

Awww, how adorable. I got a sneak peek into these, but they look very cool with the white border and black background here on blogger! Looks like someone is missing her Razzle! :(

I love the drawings. I like how in the first one you cannot see his feet; they are all tucked up! :P

Hi Candi's sis! <3

Thanks so much for your comment on my blog!
Would you believe that I had frozen half of that illegal sheesecake and we finally ate it today?

I envy your talent! Wow! It's like you never stopped drawing. I'm very impressed.
